Nexus is known for its excellence in system engineering. The success of any project is largely dependent on the accuracy of the engineering and the quality of the installation. Nexus offers an in-house (degreed) engineering department who work closely with our CAD operators to provide complete project documentation on each and every project.

Nexus issues extremely detailed drawings for each job. A typical drawing package includes: a device legend, site plans, device plans, riser diagrams, door elevations, equipment-control elevations, detailed wiring diagrams and specifications for all peripheral devices. We provide customized views and details for security consoles including scaled equipment rack drawings that illustrate the location and specification of each device located in each rack. Equipment cut sheets are integrated with the drawing details making it easy for installers to match camera types with camera details. All projects are created in-house utilizing AutoCAD software. As-built drawings and system manuals are issued at the close of every job. Our goal is to make the installation of our systems as easy to complete as possible.
